IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer with expertise in Windows operating systems to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and troubleshooting to our employees.

Key Skills:

• Hyperconverged Platforms (VXrail, Nutanix).
• Office 365, Azure AD/AWS AD Services, Active Directory (GPO Management, sites and services, File/Folder permissions and other security configurations). 
• Cloud services: AWS/Azure.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2019,2022.
• Networking, Cisco NGFS, Nexus Switches (Cisco, Security groups).
• Server and Endpoint Security suites.
• Monitoring tools and technologies: LibreNMS and Syslog.
• Backup technologies & experience with disaster recovery methodologies. 

Nice to have skills:

• Backup Software: VEEAM, HYCU and Cloud Native Backup configurations.
• Automation technologies (Ansible, Terraform).
• Load Balancing (Kemp Loadmaster, ITD and Route53/Traffic Manager).
• Cloud optimization techniques: Fargate, FSx, Storage Gateway and other Serverless configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and in person, regarding Windows operating systems, applications, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including but not limited to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network connectivity problems.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Windows operating systems and software applications, ensuring compatibility and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 5 years’ experience as an IT Support Engineer with a focus on Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including familiarity with desktop virtualization and remote support tools.
