Optimizing Redaction and Sampling at Scale

The project demanded accuracy at scale: 110,806 documents across 267,147 pages, all requiring defensible redaction and sampling. Lineal used the Lineal Images tool to run a multi-stage sampling process. Black and White image categories first, then OCR’d images, then text, then screenshots. Each phase built on the last, systematically shrinking the volume requiring in-depth review while keeping accuracy locked in. The elusion test confirmed it: 300 pages sampled, zero missed redactions, 95% confidence across the full document set.
