Former DLA Piper Executive and AI Risk Management Founder to Expand Lineal’s Global Investigations Capabilities

Sherr will lead the continued expansion of Lineal’s investigations and regulatory consultancy practice, strengthening the company’s ability to guide clients through complex regulatory scrutiny while advancing proactive, AI-enabled risk strategies.
Sherr brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of competition law, regulatory enforcement, and applied AI. As a Legal Director at DLA Piper, he advised multinational organizations on cartel investigations, dawn raids, merger control, and compliance strategy across highly regulated industries. He later founded Aiscension within DLA Piper, an AI-driven risk management business built to detect cartel, bribery, and misconduct risks across enterprise communications at scale. The initiative combined neural-network AI with legal expertise to enable continuous monitoring across global operations and earned recognition from The Lawyer, the Financial Times Innovative Lawyer Awards, Legal Week, and ALM Law.com. Sherr was also named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 for his work in AI.
