Leading LegalTech Software Architect Kit Mackie Joins Lineal Services as CTO
London, UK, April 22, 2020 – Lineal Services, the London based data services organization, announced today that Kit Mackie will join the company as CTO.
Mackie has eighteen years’ experience in the legal technology space and was a driving force behind two powerhouse technologies. He was an early employee and led all product development efforts at Relativity for ten years as the company changed the way documents were reviewed in legal. Mackie followed that up as co-founder and CTO of the leading cutting-edge AI platform NexLP.
Kent Teague, Chairman and CEO of Lineal, who also started his career as a software developer, was ecstatic to announce the Mackie hiring. “I worked with some amazing tech minds at Microsoft, and I put Kit Mackie in that category. His track record is obviously impressive. His vision will allow us to optimize our tech delivery, now and going forward,” Teague said.
Mackie reunites at Lineal with his former NexLP colleague, Damon Goduto. “Since Lineal uses and are big fans of Relativity and NexLP, having Kit aboard, with his experience in both applications certainly provides a unique edge. Plus, I’m super happy to work with Kit again,” Goduto said.
Mackie is excited to tackle development projects to enhance existing and imagine new workflows, drive efficiencies and introduce AI into all aspects of service delivery.
