Lineal passes its annual ISO27001 ISMS audit
London, UK – 28 JULY, 2020 – We’re delighted to announce we passed our annual ISO27001 external audit.
This highlights that we have a robust and comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISO27001 is the internationally recognised best practice framework for an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
An ISMS outlines and demonstrates an organisation’s approach to Information Security. It includes how an organisation identifies risks and opportunities that relate to its valuable information and associated assets and how it overcomes these.
This is really important to Lineal. Organisations increasingly have to show they can be trusted for information security and privacy management and having ISO27001 demonstrates that an organisation has identified risks and put in place preventative measures to protect the organisation from information security breaches, giving added confidence to both potential and existing customers.
This certification is an ongoing process of continuous improvement, review and engagement from all Lineal stakeholders. From our clients perspective, it confirms our commitment to the security and confidentiality of the data we handle and gives them the assurance they need to partner with Lineal.
